Anime Glimpse actually began with a singular obsession: Studio Ghibli.
I wanted a place to document the quiet beauty of films like Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away—to write about the resilience, nature, and magic that Miyazaki brought to life. But as any fan knows, the rabbit hole goes much deeper than just one studio.
I realized that limiting myself to one genre was like only eating dessert. I wanted to talk about the grit of cyberpunk, the adrenaline of shonen, the heartbreak of slice-of-life dramas, and the black-and-white artistry of manga.
So, I expanded the scope. Today, Anime Glimpse is a personal archive of my journey through the medium. It is no longer just about the “Ghibli Glimpse”—it’s a glimpse into everything the industry has to offer.
